RESIDENTIAL INTERIORS

BANABA STREET
RESIDENCE

MAKATI

As the Banaba Street Residence was a renovation project, many of the existing walls and columns needed to be retained; as a result, NGDC had to work within these design constraints. Contrasting the home's previous design, the new interior spaces of Banaba Street Residence were planned to be very open. Interior walls were kept to a minimum, creating one great room for the living, dining, and common areas. NGDC's interior design team also clad the existing columns and walls with Iranian Travertine, and decided to capture the various colors of the material in the fabrics and furniture adorning the interior spaces, allowing the material to become an anchor point for the design of the home.
